An eSIM, or also called Virtual SIM. It is a SIM that is integrated into the hardware of a mobile phone, tablet or smart watch.

Once the User has registered, Mexfon will send an email asking the User to confirm twice the email address provided.

Additionally, the email will require the User's authorization so that only by this means the QR code will be sent to the User to download the eSIM.  

The User from the moment he receives the QR code, will be solely responsible for its use and safekeeping.

 ¿CAN ESIM BE USED WITH ANY PACKAGE?

 Yes, the eSIM service will be available for all Packages offered by Mexfon.

  ¿CAN ESIM BE USED ON ALL devices ?

 No, it is important that you verify if your device is compatible for the use of eSIM technology, likewise, you must verify it is compatible with the network used by Mexfon.

 ¿WHICH devices are COMPATIBLE WITH ESIM?  

¿DO I HAVE TO CONFIGURE MY device TO USE ESIM?

Yes, it is important that you consider the following:

• The your device's software must be unlocked (no SIM Lock / no lock by some other operator).
• The hardware or model of the device must be from the Mexican market only (not imported).
• You will need to update your device's system to the latest version available.

 ¿CAN I USE AN ESIM IF I HAVE A PLAN OR PACKAGE WITH ANOTHER OPERATOR?

 If you purchased the device through a Plan or Package with another operator, it will be locked and cannot be used with the Mexfon network. In order to use the device and install the eSIM it must be unlocked.do.

  ¿CAN I USE A PHYSICAL SIM AND AN ESIM AT THE SAME TIME?

 It is possible to use both SIMs if the device is unlocked

 ¿CAN MORE THAN ONE ESIM BE REGISTERED IN THE device?

 No, only one eSIM can be actived at a time.

 ¿WHAT HAPPENS IF I DELETE THE ESIM FROM THE device ?

 If you delete the eSIM from the device, you must request another QR code, as the eSIM can only be downloaded once.
